My name is Ana Zakradze. I am a regular 16 year old girl from capital of Georgia, Tbilisi. I live with my parents and my two sisters. I go to the private school called “Aia-GESS.” I have been studying here for only two years and I love the environment and people around me. I love learning languages and using my skills for communicating with people almost around the whole globe. I can speak English, Russian and am in the process of learning German and Spanish and am looking forward to learning French. In my free time I like to sing and watch movies with my friends. I think that I can achieve all of my goals as long as I set my mind and heart to it.

Giorgi Ekaladze


My name is Giorgi Ekaladze. I was born on June 6, 2001 in the capital of Georiga – Tbilisi. I live with my parents and my younger sister, or course we often argue. At present I am an 11th grader in the private school "Aia-Gess." I am interested in humanitarian subjects and I am going to study law. I am learning English, Russian, and Spanish. I am an active teenager and try my best to improve myself. I frequently participate in educational projects and organize it too. For instance, I am an organizer of the debate club at my school. I love being updated about the newest events and I really enjoy writing as well. I write blogs and translate artistic works from English to Georgian. I'm afraid of unproductive life, I want to use this opportunity fully. I think I'll do it if I don't give up and work with love.

Session Description

Proper nutrition is an important component of the development and health of the young body. The participants will show their attitude to the dishes of traditional national cuisine, to get acquainted with its useful properties and the danger of fast food. During the presentation, the listeners of the talk will be able to taste Georgian national sweets (churchkhela and chocolate) along with the cultural music background to enhance the presentation.

What will youth learn and be able to do at the end of the session?

The goal of this presentation is to positively influence children’s food-related preference, attitudes, and behavior. Theoretical and practical acquaintance of children and youth (students) with the peculiarities of interaction between food and health, and determining their impact on the character of the manifestation of the national mentality which contributes to the refusal of children and young people from fast food in favor of a healthy diet.

To improve nutrition and health outcomes  through an integrated, gender equal, environmentally sustainable systems approach to  food safety and quality.
